Job Summary
Provide full scope nurse-midwifery services including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, well woman care, and family planning according to established protocols. Perform history and physical exams, manage acute and chronic illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and monitor maternal and fetal vital signs while administering medications and IV infusions. Deliver exclusively at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, maintaining active hospital delivery privileges and participating in interdisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate medical records and refer patients to follow-up providers as necessary. Requires an active RN and CNM license, DEA, and NPI, with the ability to work flexible hours between office and hospital settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active license as a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife
- Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board
- Active DEA and NPI Number
- Authorized to work and practice in the United States
- Ability to work flexible hours, between office and hospital
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccination or an approved request for accommodation is required as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in OB/GYN practices and as a Certified Nurse Midwife preferred
- CPR Certification and NRP certification are preferred
