Job Summary
Manage prenatal visits, attend deliveries, provide postpartum care, address gynecologic concerns, and promote preventive health within a collaborative clinical setting. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver full-spectrum care for women throughout all stages of life while managing shared call responsibilities. Maintain active Illinois certification, board eligibility, and DEA registration to prescribe medications. Commit to continuing education and quality improvement initiatives. Residents enjoy access to riverfront parks, biking trails, and community festivals in an area with strong healthcare and manufacturing sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Midwife with active Illinois
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nurse Midwifery
- Eligible for DEA registration and prescribing privileges
- Experience managing prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and routine gynecologic care
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused and team-oriented approach
- Commitment to continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and participation in shared call responsibilities
