Job Summary
Certified Nurse Assistant for the Urology Unit in Edgewood Hospital provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing personal care and comfort, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for an assigned group of patients. Must be certified as a CNA in the work state, able to read and communicate in English, complete state CNA coursework, and have CPR certification for professional rescuer; role is part-time with shifts 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, three days per week with holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state where work is performed
- English communication proficiency
- Completion of applicable state CNA courses
- Successful completion of CNA exam for certification
- Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry
