Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care in a Queens, NY skilled care facility. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding), monitoring residents' condition and vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team, ensuring patient safety and comfort during night shifts, accurate documentation, assisting with mobility and transfers, and maintaining infection control and a clean, safe environment. Requires NYS CNA license, completion of accredited CNA training, and at least 1 year of nursing-home experience. Must be immune to Hepatitis B and available to work every other Saturday and Sunday; rotating weekend shifts. Competitive hourly rate of $27 with benefits including vacation, sick leave, health insurance eligibility, and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
- At least one year of nursing-home experience
- Immunization against Hepatitis B (proof of immunity)
- Flexible schedule and availability to work every other Saturday and Sunday
