Job Summary
Certified Nurse Assistant in an inpatient rehabilitation setting providing hands-on care to patients regaining independence. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, transferring), offering emotional support, maintaining a safe environment with infection-control practices, communicating with patients, families, nurses, and therapists, and documenting patient information and vital signs as directed by the nursing team. Requires BLS certification and active CNA credential; strong communication, teamwork, and compassionate patient-centered care are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
- Current, unencumbered Certification as a Nurse Assistant in states where required.
