Job Summary

Respond promptly to patient call lights to assess needs and escalate appropriately. Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including mobility, personal hygiene, and comfort care. Turn, reposition, and assist bedridden patients per care plans while measuring, monitoring, and accurately recording vital signs. Gather and communicate relevant patient information, observe changes in condition, and report findings to nursing staff. Greet patients, families, and visitors professionally while identifying and reporting safety hazards. Adhere to all infection control practices and replenish supplies to maintain organized care areas. This role requires a Wyoming State Certified Nursing Assistant with BLS certification and willingness to work nights, weekends, and cross-train in acute care. Starting pay is $18.00/hour with sign-on and referral bonuses available.

Required Qualifications

  • Wyoming State Certified Nursing Assistant
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional knowledge of medical terminology and processes
  • Has and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to take after-hours calls, work nights, weekends, pick up shifts, and flexibility in scheduling, due to patient care needs
  • Willing to cross-train and support staffing needs across departments, including picking up shifts in acute care
  • This position requires light to moderate work with 50 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry
  • Position requires reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing
  • Employment is contingent upon the applicant's authorization to work in the United States and successful completion of the federal Form I-9 employment eligibility verification process
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout their employment
