Job Summary
Deliver patient care by managing activities of daily living, assessing patient status, and interpreting data to determine appropriate care levels. Prioritize tasks to provide safe, effective interventions while administering treatments and evaluating outcomes. Document data collection, interventions, and evaluations accurately and communicate patient information to the care team. Assist in discharge planning and serve as an advocate for patients and families regarding care decisions. Work under the supervision of registered or licensed practical nurses to perform delegated technical and environmental care activities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be Certified or eligible for Nurse Aide Certification
- Must have CNA Certification
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the needs of the patient
- Must be able to function in role to assist the licensed practical nurse in the provision of technical and environmental patient care activities as delegated by and under the supervision of the licensed staff
