Job Summary
Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Conduct room checks, perform laundry, and maintain environmental safety while documenting all services. Escort residents for transportation and dining, monitor their condition, and report changes or emergencies to the supervisor immediately. Utilize safe transfer techniques and infection control procedures, operating medical equipment and responding to incidents with tactful communication. Full-time or part-time PRN availability up to $18.00/hour. Requires current CNA certification, ability to lift 40 pounds, and English proficiency. Reports to the shift supervisor and Wellness Director.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Must maintain certification for a Certified Nurse Aide
- Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
