Job Summary

Maintain medication carts and supplies; monitor inventory and reorder as needed. Accurately document all administrations in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) system and administer medications in accordance with physician orders and resident care plans. Observe residents and promptly report changes, concerns, or needs to licensed nursing staff or appropriate department leaders. Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident care and team operations. Competitive hourly pay based on experience, professional liability insurance, flexible schedule, on-the-job training, and continuing education available. Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification and CPR certification required; long-term care or geriatric experience preferred. Required Qualifications

  • Read, analyze, and interpret basic scientific and technical information in English
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in spoken English
  • Perform basic math, including calculations with standard and weight measurements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 50-100 lbs. and assist with resident handling
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in environments with exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases

  • Long-term care or geriatric experience
