Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Part-Time Weekend Days

Job Summary
Answer residents' call lights to determine need and turn and reposition residents while in bed. Provide physical support for daily living activities including bathing, eating, dressing, and ambulation. Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to ensure appropriate diet, then record food and liquid intake and output. Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff. Requires active Utah CNA certification, effective communication skills, and knowledge of medical practices and local long-term care regulations. Day, swing, or night shifts available with 8-hour blocks; part-time roles offer 2-3 days weekly. Nursing tuition reimbursement up to $500 monthly for eligible employees.
Required Qualifications
- An active CNA Certification, in good standing, issued by the state of Utah
- Effectively communicate on a personal level with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, etc.
- Able to make decisions independently when warranted
- Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures
- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long term care
