Job Summary
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) role providing daily direct resident care under nursing supervision. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, assisting with food intake and elimination, transferring and ambulating residents, monitoring and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse, maintaining accurate documentation of vital signs and care, supporting plans of care, infection control, safety compliance, and participating in staff meetings and in-service education. Requires ability to communicate in English, strong interpersonal skills, and physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 75 pounds, and operate related medical equipment. Optional/preferred education includes high school diploma or GED and CNA certification; Indiana certification is required. Available shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd; full-time and part-time positions with shift differentials and benefits such as health plans, 401(k), and tuition assistance. Location: Greensburg, IN.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one or more years related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Successful completion of a nurse assistant training and competency evaluation program including passing the certification exam
- Indiana state CNA certification
- Must be certified in the state of Indiana
