Job Summary
Provide daily supportive and functional care to residents according to established community care procedures. Maintain resident comfort by assisting with activities of daily living, handling personal care needs, and responding to call lights. Observe residents closely to identify changing conditions and report observations to nursing leadership. Actively participate in care/service plans, assist with mealtimes and therapies under licensed staff direction, and document care in clinical records. Create meaningful relationships with residents and families while supporting their involvement in daily decision-making. Maintain a clean and safe environment while adhering to physical safety requirements and standard precautions.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Missouri)
- Current CNA certification (Illinois)
- Enrollment, or eligibility for enrollment within 120 days of completion of the training program, on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry
- Must be able to communicate with residents
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push/pull 45 lbs.
- Is willing to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with direct patient/resident care preferable
