Job Summary

Provide direct, personal care and services to residents in the skilled nursing facility to maintain and improve their highest level of independent function. Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, transfers, toileting, feeding, and ambulation. Perform routine vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, and weight while documenting concise information on appropriate forms. Collect specimens, assist with restorative exercises, and transport patients upon admission or dismissal. Answer call lights, maintain a clean environment, and provide emotional, educational, and spiritual support for families. Report immediate changes in patient conditions, pain management, or concerns to nursing staff. Comply with safety principles, infection control procedures, and disaster plans while upholding resident rights and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board in the state of practice within 120 Days
  • High School or GED Equivalent
  • Less than 1 year Related experience or training
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
  • Ability to work the hours specified
