Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Full Time Swing-Shift

Job Summary
Answer residents' call lights to determine need, turn and reposition residents in bed, and provide physical support for daily living activities including bathing, eating, dressing, and ambulation. Review dietary restrictions and food allergies, record intake and output, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff. Requires active Utah CNA certification, independent decision-making, and knowledge of medical practices and long-term care regulations. Full-time employees work 5 days a week on 8-hour swing shifts from 2 PM to 10 PM, while part-time staff work 2-3 days weekly. Eligible for $500 monthly nursing tuition reimbursement after completing the first 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- An active CNA Certification, in good standing, issued by the state of Utah
- Effectively communicate on a personal level with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, etc.
- Able to make decisions independently when warranted
- Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures
- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long term care
