Job Summary
Evening Shift CNA opportunities at Desert View Care Center in Buhl, ID. On-the-job training available to attain CNA certification with Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and a $500/month allowance toward nursing program costs. Responsibilities include answering residents’ call lights, turning and repositioning residents, assisting with ADLs, reviewing dietary restrictions and preferences, recording intake/output, and reporting changes to nursing staff to ensure resident comfort in a geriatric long-term care setting. Benefits include competitive salary, 401(k) with company match, health/dental/life/vision insurance, PTO, and training. Hours: 2 PM to 10 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment
- Effective communication with coworkers and residents
- Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care
