Job Summary
Perform daily hygiene care and assist residents with activities of daily living while personalizing support based on their preferences. Deliver comprehensive care addressing social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical needs through accurate documentation and prompt reporting of discrepancies. Apply safety, infection control, and risk management procedures while communicating regularly with immediate supervisors regarding resident status. Engage frequently with residents, family members, and visitors in a warm, welcoming environment. Requires medium-heavy physical work including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and 45 pounds repeatedly. Stands and walks constantly with occasional sitting, kneeling, and reaching above shoulder height. Must possess a Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License and 3–6 months of long-term care experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up in excess of 45 pounds of force repeatedly
- Stands and walks constantly during working hours
- Requires grasping
- Exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases
- Is subject to frequent interruptions
Desired Qualifications
- 3 – 6 months experience in a long-term care preferred
