Job Summary
Provide effective patient care under licensed supervision to maintain department flow and ensure a safe, clean environment. Perform duties including patient assessment, infection control adherence, and basic computer tasks while demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Maintain current California CNA certification, American Heart Association BLS certification, and required continuing education. Full-time day shift rotation with on-call availability. PIH Health serves 3 million residents across Los Angeles, Orange, and San Gabriel Valley counties through its integrated network of hospitals, outpatient clinics, and home healthcare services.
Required Qualifications
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills
- Knowledge of infection control
- Basic organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and patient assessment skills
- Must have a current California CNA certification
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Evidence of continuing education where required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an acute care facility preferred or formal class room education and formal hospital/in-service orientation
