Job Summary
Conduct bedside and out-of-bed care for residents while administering tasks in accordance with facility policies. Attend shift reports to assess resident conditions, make preliminary rounds, and confer with the Charge Nurse regarding assignments. Escort residents to external clinics or physician offices when assigned and maintain strict confidentiality regarding resident problems and conditions. Complete accountability records as required and offer suggestions to improve care quality. Maintain a valid NYS CNA license, CPR certification, and up-to-date physical examination with relevant titers and screenings.
Required Qualifications
- NYS CNA License and Registration
- Two Professional Reference Letters
- Driver's license or government-issued picture ID
- Social Security card
- An up-to-date physical (within the last year) that must indicate: PPD within the last year or chest x-ray if positive PPD within last 2 years
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella titers
- Proof of Vaccination Card
- CPR Certification
