Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide nursing care to patients in the home setting and assist with daily activities such as bathing, eating, and toileting. Responsibilities include patient care with hygiene and daily living assistance, assisting with meals, ambulation, and turning/positioning patients. Medical duties include checking vital signs, glucose and acetone urine testing, specimen collection, and applying non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, and heat treatments, as well as sitz and therapeutic baths. Requires CNA coursework completion and a high school diploma; hospital experience preferred. Strong reliability, empathy, and ability to work with diverse patients are required.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or the equivalent
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
