Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary
Provide nursing care to patients in the home setting and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, meals). Perform patient monitoring tasks including vital signs, weight checks, and specimen collection (including sugar and acetone urine testing) and apply non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths. Assist with mobility and positioning; support patients with meals; maintain patient comfort and dignity. Requires CNA training and high school diploma; prior hospital experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and demonstrate dependable, compassionate, and empathetic care in a diverse patient population. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or the equivalent
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous hospital experience with acceptable references preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds at times
