Job Summary
Provides basic elder care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Utilizes an elder-centered approach to provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living. The CNA/Universal Worker delivers routine daily nursing care and other requested services per the Elder’s assessment, choices, and care plan under supervision to maintain high-quality care. Scheduling includes 6:30am–3:00pm shifts with every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday coverage. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Iowa Certified Nurse’s Aide or recent course completion and passing test scores
- Active status on the Direct Care Worker’s Registry
