Job Summary
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living. Answer resident call lights promptly and courteously, and assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation. Measure and record vital signs, observe changes in residents' conditions, and maintain accurate documentation of care provided. Promote resident dignity, privacy, and independence while keeping the environment clean, safe, and organized. Follow facility policies, infection control guidelines, and resident rights standards. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members. Requires current Maryland CNA certification and CPR certification. Full-time 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Current Maryland CNA certification in good standing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care
- Every other weekend required
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
