Job Summary
Provide great patient care by answering calls, assisting with daily activities like toileting and eating, and administering medication assistance. Measure vital signs, record intake and output, and document observations of patient behavior or physical symptoms to nursing staff. Support patients with ambulation, transfers, and positioning while ensuring they receive appropriate diets based on their restrictions and preferences. Maintain home safety and sanitation standards, participate in the Quality Improvement Program, and stay current on facility policies and CNA training. Work independently in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively with staff members.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' work experience
- Basic Health and Tuberculosis Screening
- Participate in Quality Improvement Program
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
- Current CPR (American Heart Association)
- Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
