Job Summary
Provide essential daily living assistance to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA); assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and dressing; support mobility including ambulating and positioning; monitor vital signs and document intake/output; respond to call lights and requests; maintain resident privacy and dignity per HIPAA and facility standards; report changes to the nursing supervisor; ensure resident comfort; maintain accurate documentation of care; stay current through CNA certification requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state law
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Long term care experience preferred
- Current CPR certification required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs
