Job Summary
Clinical responsibilities of the CRNA are delineated by his or her clinical privileges. Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data relevant to the planned procedure; maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies; prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards; continuously assesses airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response to anesthesia to ensure patient safety; completes required documentation including surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note; logs incident reporting in the Safety Portal. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
