Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Administers anesthesia under clinical privileges, monitors airway, depth of anesthesia, fluids status, and physiologic response to ensure patient safety; prepares and administers medications and fluids; completes required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note); logs incident reporting in the Safety Portal; contributes to maintaining a safe environment and supports with ongoing patient assessment and safety; collaborates with the clinical team to deliver high-quality anesthesia care across high- and low-acuity settings.
