Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Provide anesthesia care as part of CRNA practice within Cone Health. Responsibilities include collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data pertinent to the planned procedure; maintaining a safe environment; administering medications and fluids per safe practices; ongoing assessment of airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic response; completing documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note); logging incidents in the Safety Portal; and performing other duties as assigned.
