Certified Nurse Anesthetist

CRNA delivers anesthesia care as part of Cone Health’s anesthesia services in Sumter, SC. Core duties include collecting and reviewing patient data for planned procedures; maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies; administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards; continuous assessment of airway, anesthesia depth, fluids, and physiologic responses; completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note); and logging incidents in the Safety Portal. Requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. The role supports a full-scope anesthesia practice within a large not-for-profit health network, with opportunities to contribute to clinical excellence and professional development.
