Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Provide anesthesia care as a CRNA under clinical privileges. Collect, review, and evaluate data related to the patient’s medical/surgical history for planned procedures. Maintain patient safety by monitoring airway, depth of anesthesia, fluids status, and physiologic response; administer medications and fluids per safe practice standards. Complete required documentation including surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care notes; log incident reporting in the Safety Portal. Education required: graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
