Job Summary
CRNA duties include providing anesthesia care with responsibilities such as collecting/reviewing patient medical history, preparing and administering medications and fluids, and monitoring airway, anesthesia depth, and physiological status to ensure patient safety. The role involves maintaining safety, completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care notes), and incident reporting. The position exists within Cone Health’s anesthesia services with opportunities for both full- and part-time schedules; education is required from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Additional duties include ensuring a safe environment and responding to emergencies, along with contributing to a multidisciplinary team focused on high-quality perioperative care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
