CRNA role focusing on anesthesia delivery and perioperative patient care. Responsibilities include collecting and reviewing patient data, maintaining a safe environment, administering medications and fluids per standards, monitoring airway and anesthesia depth, ensuring patient safety, and completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care notes). Requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
