Certified Nurse Anesthetist

CRNA applies advanced anesthesia practice under clinical privileges, assisting with data collection and evaluation of patient medical history, maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies, preparing and administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards, monitoring anesthesia and physiologic responses, completing surgical safety and perioperative documentation, logging incident reports, and performing other duties as assigned. Education must be from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
