Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Clinical duties as a CRNA within Cone Health’s anesthesia program. Responsibilities include collecting and evaluating patient medical history data, maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies, administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards, continuously assessing airway and depth of anesthesia, monitoring physiologic responses, and completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note) with incident reporting logging. Education credential requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
