Provide personal care including bathing, feeding, and positioning patients. Collect specimens, vital signs, and input/output data while recording pertinent information per hospital policy. Administer enemas, apply bandages, and manage catheters or tubes as instructed. Assist with ambulation, surgery preparation, and patient orientation. Maintain a safe environment by reporting hazards and preparing incident reports. Answer signal lights promptly and participate in team conferences and staff meetings. Perform admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed. Complete three months of on-the-job training to attain proficiency.
