Job Summary
Certified Nurse Aide provides routine daily nursing care and services to residents per assessments and care plans. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, feeding, dressing, observing food intake, hair/nail care, moving residents, responding to calls, maintaining adherence to care policies, measuring and recording vital signs as directed, detecting and reporting situations that may cause accidents or injuries, contributing to resident care plans, and observing/reporting changes in residents to the Charge Nurse.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but required)
- Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred
- Must be at least 16 years of age
