Job Summary
Assist residents with personal care including grooming, bathing, catheter care, and dressing while maintaining a clean environment by changing linens and stocking supplies. Safely ambulate and transfer residents using proper body mechanics, turn them for positioning, and lead range of motion exercises. Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption, and provide reality orientation as directed. Requires current Texas Nursing Assistant Certification, strong communication skills, and adherence to safety policies. Full-time role with comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, plus tuition reimbursement and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas
- Can accurately record information and perform technical procedures
- Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience
- Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities
- Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
