Job Summary
Provide personal care and support to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA); assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing following care policy guidelines. Maintain resident environment by changing linens and ensuring supplies are stocked. Support mobility through safe ambulation and transfers using assistive devices and proper body mechanics. Record vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption. Assist with positioning and routinely turn residents for comfort and safety. Encourage engagement through range of motion exercises and reality orientation as directed. Requires current Texas CNA certification; strong communication, reliability, self-discipline, and patience; commitment to patient rights and safety policies.
