Job Summary
Assist residents with personal care including grooming, bathing, catheter care, and dressing while maintaining their environment by changing linens and stocking supplies. Safely ambulate and transfer residents using proper body mechanics, then accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption. Routinely turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety, leading range of motion exercises and providing reality orientation as directed. This role requires a current Texas Nursing Assistant Certification, strong attendance, and the ability to multitask in a full-time position offering comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas
- Can accurately record information and perform technical procedures
- Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience
- Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities
- Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
