Job Summary
Provide supportive nursing care to residents in a senior living community as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting), obtaining and documenting vital signs and other medical records, aiding with mobility and transfers, responding to call lights promptly, supporting meal service and tray distribution, delivering restorative and supportive care per care plans, maintaining tidy resident rooms, observing and reporting changes in condition, following infection control and HIPAA policies, and supporting life enrichment and fitness programming. Shift details include Night Shift - FT & PT (7p-7:30a); Full-Time 24-37hrs/week; Part-Time 12-25hrs/week. Preferred: CNA training completed, current certification in good standing, and ideally 1+ year of CNA experience in a senior/long-term care setting. Required Qualifications
- State-approved CNA training program completed
- State competency exam passed and in good standing with Nurse Aide Registry
- Demonstrates compassion, patience, and professionalism in caring for older adults
- Clear communication with residents, families, and team members
- Dependability and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting and transferring residents
- Ability to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of CNA experience in a senior care or long-term care setting
- State-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program
- Passed the state competency exam and in good standing with the Nurse Aide Registry
