Job Summary
Provide routine daily nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility in accordance with resident assessments and care plans. Perform essential functions such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing food intake, hair/nail care, assisting with transfers, and responding to calls. Measure and record vital signs as assigned, detect and report situations that may cause accidents or injuries, and contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions to care plans. Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes to the Charge Nurse. Ensure compliance with resident care policy and procedures. Education: high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. License: valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license. Age: at least 16. Physical demands include lifting, standing, walking, and other activities as listed.
