Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, showering, shaving, dressing, and grooming to promote independence. Provide toileting and incontinent care while ensuring resident safety and maintaining a clean, dry environment. Lift, move, and transfer residents as required, and respond promptly to call lights. Feed residents and follow the resident assignment schedule established by the charge nurse. Maintain supportive, protective, and safe environments for all assigned residents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the State of Texas Nurse Aide Registry
- Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents
