Job Summary
Perform MR examinations in an outpatient imaging setting using GE systems, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety. Collaborate with radiologists and a team-focused environment to support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing research. Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with MRI, and committed to patient-centered care. This union role requires on-site presence in New York, three-day flex shifts with rotating weekends, and a competitive sign-on bonus. Must hold NYS radiology and ARRT MR credentials, be eligible for or possess ARRT MRI certification within six months, and maintain ongoing continuing education and licensure requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
- New York State Radiology license in Radiography and maintain current New York State registration in Radiography
- Must possess New York State certification for intravascular contrast media injection or obtain such certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer
- Must possess current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in Radiography (R)
- Must possess current ARRT certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), or, if not currently held, must satisfy ARRT eligibility requirements and obtain ARRT certification and registration in MRI within six (6) months of hire or transfer
- Must maintain all required continuing education and renewal requirements for New York State and ARRT credentials
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, Modality specific software
