Job Summary
Provide clinical and administrative support as a Mohs Medical Assistant in a dermatology practice. Responsibilities include assisting in Mohs surgery and surgical excisions, maintaining patient medical records, reviewing patient history, obtaining appropriate consents, calling in prescriptions, assisting with scheduling surgeries and administrative tasks, screening and rooming patients, ensuring PPE compliance, sanitizing and cleaning areas, and supporting a fast-paced clinical environment. Requires certification as a Medical Assistant (preferred), CPR certification, and knowledge of dermatologic surgery; candidate should be a collaborative team player capable of delivering quality patient care in-person at the Greenville, SC location.
Required Qualifications
- CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT PREFERRED
- Surgical or Mohs Experience PREFERRED
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of vital signs
- Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
