Job Summary
Maintain all mill machinery, including pumps, conveyors, compressors, and pneumatic systems, by performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance. Inspect equipment to detect irregularities, troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, and implement safe, reliable fixes to enhance equipment reliability. Manage time effectively to assess when to assemble, move, replace, or dismantle machinery while ensuring a safe work environment for coworkers and visitors. Operate under pressure with a high degree of urgency, utilizing Red Seal certification to keep the sawmill running at peak performance. Full-time rotating weekday schedule with minimum 40 hours per week.

- Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- High degree of urgency
- Full-time rotating, weekday schedule (two weeks of days, 2 weeks of afternoons, and two weeks of nights, or graveyard shift)
- Minimum of 40 hours per week

- Knowledge of the lumber or industrial manufacturing process
- Experience with welding procedures and equipment reliability
- Background in heavy industry and construction
