Job Summary
Certified Middle School Science Teacher at Georgia Connections Academy will deliver high-quality virtual instruction, provide differentiated Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 interventions, and engage families to drive student learning and growth. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, maintaining accurate records, collaborating with staff, and participating in required in-person activities throughout Georgia. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a Georgia teaching certification in Middle School Science.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a Georgia teaching certification in the subject area of instruction
- Must have a Clearance Certificate through the Department of Education or be able to obtain one within the first 30 days of the first day of hire
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Highly organized and punctual
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in teaching or supporting Title I schools
- Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite
