Job Summary
Administer medications according to physician orders and community policies while accurately documenting administration in QuickMAR. Maintain medication schedules, monitor residents for side effects and condition changes, and promptly report concerns or refusals to the nurse. Assist with inventory, storage, ordering, and disposal while following infection-control practices. Provide resident care and assist with daily needs as required, communicating effectively with families and the care team. Full-time 7am-7pm shift with weekend and holiday availability.
Required Qualifications
- Current medication technician certification or required South Carolina medication-administration credentials
- 3 years experience or more
- Previous assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or senior-care experience
- Strong attention to detail and medication-documentation skills
- Ability to recognize and promptly report changes in a resident's condition
- Dependable transportation and a record of punctual, consistent attendance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
