Job Summary
Administer prescribed medications accurately and timely according to physician orders and care plans, while monitoring residents for side effects and reporting concerns to the nursing team. Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation, ensuring compliance with state regulations and infection control standards. Assist with resident care and activities of daily living as appropriate, promoting resident safety, dignity, and quality of life. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional care in a clean, organized environment. Requires an active CMA license on the Maryland Board of Nursing, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and every-other weekend availability. Schedule runs 2:30p to 11p.
Required Qualifications
- Active CMA (Certified Medication Aide) license on Maryland Board of Nursing
- Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
- Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation
