Job Summary
Certified Medication Technician on night shift in Owensville, MO responsible for administering medications to residents under supervision, documenting medication administration, and reporting any errors. Role includes measuring and recording residents’ vital signs, communicating with the Charge Nurse/Director of Nursing Services, following facility medication procedures, and supporting programs to prevent medication errors. Requires high school education or equivalent and a licensed medication technician with state-approved training; strong written and oral communication skills for interaction with residents, families, and staff; ability to complete necessary administrative forms and charts.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
- Must be a licensed medication tech having successfully completed a state-approved training program and any necessary examination(s) in accordance with laws of this State.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff members.
