Job Summary
Administer PRN medications, pour, pass, and document routine prescribed drugs, and take vital signs prior to administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Record reactions and side effects in the resident's clinical chart, count narcotics at discretion, and deliver oxygen via nasal channel or non-sealing mask during emergencies. This role requires a Certified Medication Technician with state-approved training and a current certification card. Daily pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) are offered. Required Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed state approved school of medication administration
- Must carry current acknowledgment card or certification issued by state agency
- Must be willing to abide by restrictions placed on his/her job by state agency
- Must be a certified nursing assistant
