Job Summary
Certified Medication Technician to assist in administering medications to residents under physician/nurse supervision. Responsibilities include documenting drug administration, identifying and reporting medication errors, assisting in establishing procedures to prevent errors, completing required forms/reports, recording vital signs, and ensuring proper entry of medication orders in the resident's clinical record. Requires effective written and oral communication within an interdisciplinary care setting and completion of a state-approved training program for licensed medication techs. Location: Owensville, MO; Day Shift; Part-Time.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
- Must be a licensed medication tech having successfully completed a state-approved training program and any necessary examination(s) in accordance with laws of this State.
